Monday - Friday with every other weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory therapy to patients per physician orders and protocols.

• Assess patient needs, document findings, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Monitor patient responses and outcomes, and escalate outliers promptly.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and workflow.

• Achieve weekly and monthly targets through proactive patient rounds and referrals.

• Document clinical activities accurately in electronic health records.

• Ensure accurate billing and coding for respiratory services in alignment with regulations.

• Maintain equipment, perform safety checks, and coordinate with biomed for repairs.

• Educate patients and families on therapies, devices, and self-management.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and apply learnings to practice.

Experience/Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license or equivalent credentials.

• Proficient in administering protocol-driven respiratory therapies per physician orders.

• Experience evaluating patient needs and documenting findings in EHR with accuracy.

• Ability to monitor outcomes, identify outliers, and escalate promptly.

• Strong collaboration skills for multidisciplinary care and nursing support.

• Demonstrated success in meeting targets through rounds and referrals.

• Accurate billing and coding for respiratory services aligned with regulations.

• Equipment maintenance, safety checks, and coordination with biomed for repairs.

• Patient and family education on therapies, devices, and self-management.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to boost efficiency and throughput.
