Tax Supervisor

An established, highly regarded CPA firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager to join its team. What You'll Do The role will be primarily focused on tax compliance, review, planning, and client advisory , including: Review partnership and LLC returns (1065) Review S Corporation returns (1120-S) Handle trust and fiduciary returns (1041) Review K-1s and complex pass-through tax matters Work with real estate partnerships, investors, and closely held businesses Provide year-round tax planning and projections Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients on tax strategies Research federal, state, and local tax issues Manage tax engagements from planning through completion Communicate directly with clients and develop trusted relationships Review work prepared by staff and provide coaching and feedback Mentor and develop junior professionals Work directly with the firm's partners on complex client matters What We're Looking For We are interested in candidates with most—not necessarily all—of the following: 5+ years of public accounting experience Strong tax preparation and/or review experience Experience with 1040, 1065, 1041 and/or 1120-S returns HNW individual tax experience Partnership and pass-through taxation Trust and estate/fiduciary taxation Tax planning and projections Experience reviewing staff work CPA or EA preferred, but not required for the right candidate Candidates coming from both large and boutique CPA firms will be considered.
