- Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized evaluation tools and observations.
- Create individualized treatment approaches targeting immediate goals alongside lasting communication, cognitive skills, or swallowing needs.
- Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
- Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care planning.
- Provide educational resources to patients and their families for continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, maintaining a seamless continuum of care throughout rehabilitation journeys.
- Uphold meticulous documentation in alignment with state, federal, and institutional requirements.
- Commit to ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the field.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Expertise in evidence-based therapy practices across all ages, with a profound understanding of both developmental and acquired speech disorders.
- Outstanding communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Adept at customizing therapy techniques to suit varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Exceptional clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with electronic medical records and documentation protocols.
