Description

• Conduct assessments across pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing standardized evaluation tools and observations.
• Create individualized treatment approaches targeting immediate goals alongside lasting communication, cognitive skills, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions emphasizing language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care planning.
• Provide educational resources to patients and their families for continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, maintaining a seamless continuum of care throughout rehabilitation journeys.
• Uphold meticulous documentation in alignment with state, federal, and institutional requirements.
• Commit to ongoing education and peer collaboration to remain at the forefront of the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized university.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
