Material Handler/Packager Needed for Warehouse in West Jordan Utah

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Type: Long-Term, Temp-to-Hire

Material Handler Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 05:00pm)

• Receive and process incoming materials and shipments.
• Unpack, inspect, and label materials as required.
• Remove plugs and prepare materials for production or storage.
• Break down shipping crates using hand and power tools
• Organize and relocate overstock inventory to designated storage areas.
• Package products using foam inserts, expanding foam, bubble wrap, and other protective materials.
• Build and prepare shipping crates in multiple configurations, including horizontal and vertical crate assemblies.
• Assist with additional warehouse, shipping, and material handling duties as assigned.

Material Handler Qualifications:

• Ability to frequently lift and move 50+ pounds.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand English.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Previous warehouse, packaging, shipping, or material handling experience preferred.
