Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Location Arizona Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, with varying days off and call. Must be available for 3-4 call shifts per 4-week schedule. Job Description The Registered Nurse will be working primarily in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. The role demands quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment and includes responsibilities in both Pre-op and PACU settings. Responsibilities Manage and monitor patients in the PACU, ensuring a safe transition from anesthesia. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with surgical teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Evaluate patient progress and respond to any complications or emergency situations. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of PACU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from an approved vendor.
