Position Title: Overnight Direct Support Professional Location: Lawrence, KS Job Id: 1332 Number of Openings: 1 Role Summary Overnight Direct Support Professional. Full-Time, $17.50 - $18.67 per hour. GoodLife Innovations is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide care and companionship to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your shift will be spent in family-style group homes to assist with client goals and personal care needs. Responsibilities Support positive behaviors, teach communication skills, and maintain health and hygiene for the individuals served. Work in family-style group homes to assist with client goals and personal care needs. Qualifications Entry-Level Qualifications: At least 18 years of age Must pass criminal background check Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (day positions only) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to physically assist individuals Flexibility in assigned working location based on client needs Preferred Qualifications: Previous caregiving or direct support experience, ideally in a residential or therapeutic setting Experience working with clients with aggressive or disruptive behaviors Training in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques Assisting or fully supporting with personal care needs (bathing, toileting, grooming) Teaching and supporting daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry) Administering medications Benefits 3-day workweeks Weekly pay Health insurance reimbursement (ICHRA) Flexible spending account (FSA) Paid time-off Matching 401k Notes This pay range represents GoodLife’s average range for this role at the time of posting.
