You will support the Operations Maintenance team in by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. You will help train, and mentor service and contract technicians.Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToPromote a safe working environment by following all safety proceduresMaintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the buildingLead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts usedMaintain a positive working relationship across all the Operations facilityDevelop training plans for service techniciansDevelop work plans for emergency repair of critical assetsMove up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodationTravel up to 20% at a minimum.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas, including weekends, nights and/or holidays3+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance3+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics2+ years of work order managementPreferred QualificationsAssociates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles4+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical fieldPrevious leadership experiencePrevious vendor management experienceExperience with robotic maintenanceExperience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standardsExperience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Physical DemandsRepetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walkingLifting parts and tools weighing on average 20 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 49 poundsDexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals) manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfacesLocationOn-site – Miami, FLJob TagsRMEIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don't meet all the requirements.
