Bus Driver

Safely transport students and school personnel to and from authorized campuses and final destinations. Periodically transport students and school personnel to and from extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with Passenger and School Bus endorsements. (Minimum Class B CDL P & S REQUIRED) Valid Enrollment Certificate or Texas School Bus Driver Certification.
Special knowledge/Skills: Ability to pass alcohol and drug test. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to adjust and deviate from route description when traffic and/or weather conditions justify such actions. Ability to communicate effectively and use a 2-way radio. Ability to manage student behavior.
Minimum Experience: No previous experience is necessary.
Required: Background (police) check will be conducted.

Calendar: 187 Workdays Salary: Minimum: $16.75 per hour
