Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, capturing high-quality diagnostic images, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications Graduate of a Sonography program with clinical hours or on-the-job training by a registered Preceptor. No prior experience required. State licensure may be needed depending on location. Certification: ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) or ARRT (RVS), plus ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS), or eligible to obtain certification within 6 months. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Skills & Abilities Proficiency in producing diagnostic images and recognizing abnormalities. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Knowledge of protocols, machine operation, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly. Prolonged standing and walking.
