.Net Web Developer

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced.Net Web Developer to support and enhance web applications within the Enterprise section. The role involves full-stack development using.NET MVC with C# and VB.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Kendo UI, and backend components such as SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle. This is a long-term opportunity involving both development and production support responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance .NET MVC applications using C#, VB.NET, Entity Framework, JavaScript, jQuery, and Kendo UIDesign and develop front-end and server-side componentsAnalyze and document requirements; participate in technical design and code reviewsWrite SQL queries, stored procedures, and integrate with SQL Server, DB2, and OracleWrite responsive HTML5 and JavaScript applications using Bootstrap and CSSParticipate in unit testing, smoke testing, and production support activitiesCreate and maintain technical documentationFollow SDLC standards, coding best practices, and team processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile or hybrid environmentsParticipate in application deployment and work with IIS for hosting and configurationUtilize tools such as TFS and JIRA for project tracking and version controlRequired Skills & ExperienceSkill/Qualification - Experience Required.NET MVC with C#, VB.NET - 5+ yearsFull-stack development - 5+ yearsJavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Kendo UI - 5+ yearsSQL Server, Stored Procedures - 5+ yearsDB2 and Oracle experience - 5+ yearsHTML5, CSS, responsive UI development - 5+ yearsRequirements analysis and documentation - 8+ yearsSDLC knowledge and project lifecycle - 8+ yearsProduction support and troubleshooting - 8+ yearsAuthentication/Authorization mechanisms - 5+ yearsExperience with IIS (deployment/configuration) - 5+ yearsUse of TFS and JIRA - 5+ yearsWriting clear technical documentation - 5+ yearsDataflow and structure modeling - 2+ yearsPreferred QualificationsPrior experience in financial application developmentFamiliarity with State of Wisconsin systems and development standardsExperience with DCF (Department of Children and Families) programsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinkingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environment
