Job Summary


Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Prepare operating rooms by ensuring all instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
Assess, monitor, and advocate for patients throughout the surgical process.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain sterile technique and enforce infection prevention and patient safety standards.
Administer blood and blood products according to hospital policies.
Perform surgical counts and ensure compliance with Universal Protocol (Time-Out) procedures.


Minimum Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience (5 years preferred).
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Previous Level I Trauma Center experience required.
Previous travel nursing experience required.
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
Ability to take call and work flexible scheduling based on department needs.
Willingness to float between Providence facilities, including Queen, Petaluma Valley, and Healdsburg.
