As the Quality Supervisor, you will establish, implement and maintain the processes for the Quality Management System (QMS). GXO, in good faith, believes this is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This rate may be modified in the future. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.What you'll do on a typical day:Execute the QMS according to documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standardsReview the QMS at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness, including assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for system changesProvide high-level reporting on the performance of the system and any recommendations for improvementServe as the site audit authority for all internal and external company auditsPost all company quality policies and address policy training to make sure it is understood, implemented and maintained at all levelsEnsure that facility/departmental training, status and setup is reviewed at the required frequency and that the training requirements are met in a timely mannerExecute corrective and preventive actions, including initiation and recommendation of solutions, and project management; verify solution has been implemented until defect has been correctedImplement quality initiatives at facilities as requiredWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:2 years of relevant work experienceExperience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipmentAvailability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekendsIt'd be great if you also have:Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field2 years of managerial/supervisory experienceBilingual English/SpanishExperience in an AS9100 or ISO environmentWarehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experienceExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); material handling equipment and storage medium, distribution and inventory management; ERP systems, LEAN warehousing, ISO, QMS and meeting facilitationKnowledge of OSHA, Environmental Health and Safety, and Material Safety Data Sheets regulations and complianceAbility to generate quality metrics and reportsThis job requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weightsStand, sit or walk for extended periods of timeReach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelTolerate hot or cold warehouse environmentsWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
