Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, tailoring individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs and goals.

  • Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that care strategies are appropriate and effective.

  • Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to address a wide array of mental health conditions.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to coordinate holistic care, sharing insights and strategies to improve client outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for patient rights.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and staying current with mental health advancements and research practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily involve working with diverse populations that may include individuals facing significant barriers to mental health services, such as those from underserved communities. Clients may present with a range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use challenges. Your expertise and sensitivity will empower these individuals and families to navigate their health journeys.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • \n
  • Possession of active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • At least two years of counseling experience , ideally within a clinical environment.
  • \n
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to psychological practice.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse client base.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
  • \n
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technology resources.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

  • Previous involvement in community outreach or mental health education initiatives will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and workload.
