Travel Long Term Acute Care (RN) - $2,308 per week

Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel RN for a Long Term Acute Care assignment in St Charles, Missouri. The assignment begins 08/10/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities Provide care for 5-6 patients. Adjust and perform in fast‑paced environment. Keep up with many admissions and discharges. Monitor and administer medications orally, subcutaneously, and via IV. Educate patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage illness/injury. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, and record and interpret electronic displays. Interpret and understand telemetry readings and notify appropriate members of the medical team of any irregularities. Perform the duties required of a registered nurse at all times. Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A‑Fib. Use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information. Start IVs, draw blood, and see the patient from start to finish. Qualifications Active RN license. Degree from an accredited nursing program. BLS & ACLS certifications. 18 months of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting. Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes, and ability to read telemetry strips.
