GAGE TECHNICIAN

Position Description: Experienced inspector capable of calibrating gages and master reference standards in a metrology lab environment. Good math and computer skills a plus. Highly competitive wages, full benefits including matching 401K. Will train qualified candidate. Location: New Berlin, WI Term of employment: Regular Type of employment: Full Time Approximate hours per week: 40-45 Work hours: 7:30 – 4:00 PM or 1:30 – 11:00 PM Start date: Immediate Starting salary: $13 – $18 per hour Benefits: Full health benefits including matching 401K Education (minimum): High School or Equivalent Experience level (minimum): 2–5 Years Metrology Lab Inventory and Customer Service Technician Position Description: Good opportunity for an organized individual to expedite orders, provide customer quotations, manage parts inventory, and generate invoices for a full service metrology lab. Follow up on in‑house orders and provide necessary communication with customers and suppliers as required. Individual will be responsible for ordering and inventory of repair parts, vendor and customer contact. May also perform some basic purchasing functions as required. Must be a self‑motivated, high‑energy individual with good PC and communication skills. Prior inventory experience a plus but will train qualified applicant. Position Description (additional duties): Performs a variety of duties including the expediting, scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and general follow‑up of in‑process customer orders in conjunction with the department supervisors. Responsible for ordering repair replacement parts and all that it entails. Responsible for replacement parts inventory. Maintains and follows up on job tracking system report and assures QCS is meeting promised customer turnaround times as required. Provides communication to customers in regards to job status, price approvals and repair quotations. Education: Four years of high school plus two years of college, trade school, or five years of experience in a related field or similar military experience.
