Front Desk Administrator

Position: Front Desk Administrator Employment type: full-time Location: Issaquah Meadows Vision Center is an optometry clinic in Issaquah. The right individual will possess excellent customer service skills and be able to multi‑task. Maintaining a positive attitude to ensure the highest quality of patient care is essential. Experience in an optometry environment is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Answer calls to the practice Schedule appointments Greet patients and provide excellent patient care Prepare patient chart and ensure confidentiality of all records Update contact information at each visit Verify insurance benefits and eligibility Assisting opticians and tech with various tasks DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS: Organized and detail oriented Great interpersonal skills Strong Word, Excel, and computer knowledge Exceptional verbal and written communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Medical office reception preferred, but not required. Experience in optometric terminology, and abbreviations a big plus. Experience in taking patient history a plus. Experience with optometric equipment a plus. Crystal PM Software knowledge a big plus. This is a full-time position.
