You will work across teams to align on project requirements, create work back plans, define API contracts, and manage strategic communications with executive stakeholders.This is a leadership position that requires an ability to earn trust with stakeholders across diverse disciplines including engineering, product, operations, legal, sales, UX, and marketing. You must be a highly-collaborative team player capable of inspiring teams to innovate and deliver results against challenging timelines.Key job responsibilities- Work with teams across engineering, product, operations, legal, UX, sales, and marketing to define requirements and deliver complex ad products that leverage generative AI.- Define and deliver critical programs with broad cross-organizational impact, owning the technology roadmap for complex systems and managing a portfolio of interdependent initiatives from strategy through execution.- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from early career university hires to senior executives.- Identify gaps and opportunities across architectures, services, and organizations, then drive system-level and business reviews that align teams toward coherent strategies and reduce redundant engineering effort.- Amplify your impact by mentoring other technical program managers, sharing best practices across the engineering community, and creating mechanisms that ensure long-term program success beyond your direct involvement.Basic qualifications- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience- 5+ years of software development experience- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionPreferred qualification - 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
