Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 13 or 26 Week Contract | 36 or 48 Hour Weekly Options Available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 49-bed Heart & Vascular specialty medical/surgical unit serving cardiovascular patients
• Care for specialty patient populations including stable heart and lung transplants and patients on Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs)
• Manage and monitor IV drips as required across all floors
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
• Float within scope to other units across the facility and potentially to an additional campus to meet staffing needs
• Adhere to weekend and holiday scheduling requirements, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period and working 2 of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending Nebraska RN state license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be booked six weeks out)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with IV drip management required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• CPI certification preferred
• Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
