Senior Manager, Commercial Sales Training

Abbott seeks a Senior Manager to design and oversee the US commercial sales training system. This role owns curriculum architecture, certification standards, and training governance while partnering across global and US teams to ensure sales readiness and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end US commercial sales training curricula with role-specific certification frameworks and progression standards
• Adapt global training content into US-specific strategies and messaging while maintaining compliance
• Establish governance standards, success measures, and quality controls for sales training
• Manage and provide oversight to 3-4 regional field sales trainers for consistent curriculum delivery
• Conduct ongoing needs analysis and use field feedback to refine training and curricula

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, education, organizational development, or related field
• Minimum 8 years in IVD sales, sales management, commercial training, or related functions
• Demonstrated experience designing and owning training curricula or learning systems
• Strong ability to evaluate complex processes and translate strategy into structured programs
• Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
• Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functionally without direct authority
