Maintenance Mechanic (On-Site) – Valencia, CA
A fast-growing manufacturing company in the Santa Clarita Valley is looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our on-site team. This is a great opportunity to work in a modern, high-tech facility and be part of a team that values safety, quality, and innovation.
What You'll Do:
- Fabricate or modify machine parts as needed
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Work with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to identify root causes and implement fixes
- Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine repair methods
- Document maintenance work accurately in the CMMS system
- Support continuous improvement and plant performance initiatives
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of electrical systems (460V 3-phase, 110V controls)
- Skilled in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
- Commitment to safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or CMMS software)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
