Cleaning Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Cleaning Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for traveling to various client locations to deliver high‑quality cleaning solutions, including carpet cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, and other cleaning services as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform carpet cleaning using commercial cleaning equipment and company methods. Strip, wax, buff, and maintain various floor surfaces. Complete specialty cleaning projects or janitorial cleaning as assigned. Operate and maintain floor machines, carpet extractors, and other specialty equipment. Assist with cleaning projects. Remove debris, trash, and other materials from project sites. Load, transport, and unload cleaning equipment and supplies. Follow all safety procedures and company policies while operating equipment and handling chemicals. Maintain inventory and organization of cleaning supplies and equipment. Communicate effectively with supervisors and clients regarding project status. Travel to various customer locations as needed. Perform or assist with other duties as necessary. Qualifications Reliable personal transportation. Pass a drug test. Pass a background check. Previous experience with carpet cleaning, floor care, or specialty cleaning services preferred. Ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills. Ability to adapt to changing schedules, work locations, and project requirements. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying hours as needed. Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism required. Physical Requirements Lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods. Move and operate heavy floor care and carpet cleaning equipment. Work safely in a variety of environments, including theaters, offices, schools, healthcare facilities, industrial buildings, and commercial properties. Work safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment. Benefits Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits package, and 401(k). Salary $1,100 per week. Job Type and Schedule Full‑Time (about 40 hours per week). Flexible schedule required – task driven rather than time driven (nights, weekends, etc.). Work Location In person – various client locations.
