Registered Respiratory Therapist

RRT NICUThis position requires providing respiratory care to patients in the neonatal intensive care unit. Candidates should possess a strong background in respiratory therapy and critical care. Breathing treatments and ventilation assessments will be performed regularly. Candidates with NICU and pediatric experience are preferred. High energy and a passion for making a difference in patient care are essential. Utilization of equipment such as Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators is expected. Experience in a level 1 trauma environment is a plus. Staff will work alongside a charge RT and clinical RTs during night shifts. Patient ratios will be maintained at 10:1 for optimal care. The unit has a diverse staff with a commitment to quality patient outcomes.
