Territory Manager, Automotive Refinish - Ft Worth

Overview As a Territory Manager , you will develop the Arizona territory and provide information and market data to support the delivery of business targets. You will influence customers at end-user and higher levels to support strategic goals. You will be responsible for delivering specific sales and service targets aligned with Regional, Zone, and National targets. You will report to the Sr. Regional Sales Manager. Responsibilities Achieve annual sales plans for growth and key sales goals while managing costs, receivables, and expenses within required targets. Develop a detailed understanding of end customer requirements and the PPG business strategy and regional challenges. Sell paint systems and sundry items of PPG Refinish brands, including commercial and light industrial (CPC) finishes, in your territory through distribution channels. Manage distributor relationships including sales, people development, training, and receivables. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of body shop/fleet operations with the ability to improve profitability, cycle time, product training, and the use of analytics. Target and develop relationships with main dealers, Regional MSO, and independent collision center operations. Collaborate within a team to develop the market and maximize potential. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent work experience 5+ years track record in growing sales with proven consultative selling skills Prior Automotive Refinish or equivalent experience Willingness to travel within assigned territory; expected overnight travel is 25% Additional information PPG provides equal employment opportunities for all applicants and employees.
