Endoscopic Tech (PRN)- GI Lab 26005853 Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013 Work hours: PRN (Day Shift) – As Needed GI Lab Department Highlights Department is a believer in work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth GI Lab is a fast-paced environment. Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent 1 Year of GI clinical or hospital experience strongly preferred ProVation documentation/reporting system experience preferred One of the following certifications preferred: CNA (Certified Nurse Aide) MA (Medical Assistant) EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req What You Will Do Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient. Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures.
