Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Tuckerton, NJ, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This outpatient role focuses on orthopedics with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions. You will evaluate patients, develop and modify treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and educate patients, families and students. You will follow physician direction and organizational policies, complete timely documentation, and participate in performance improvement and professional development activities.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active New Jersey state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Experience performing 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions preferred.
• Documentation experience including evaluation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising and educating students.
• History of participation in performance improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work flexibly including evenings as needed.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 5x8 shifts.
• Flexible 40-hour work week with 1–2 evenings until 7 PM as needed.
• Orthopedic outpatient setting with 60-minute evaluations and treatment sessions.

Impacting Patient Care

Provide patient-centered care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. You will contribute to patient and employee safety initiatives, follow safe patient handling practices, and adhere to clinic standards for documentation, appearance and punctuality. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice act and regulatory requirements. Participate in student education and clinical performance improvement activities.
