Job Description

As a Welder, you will assist in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality side dump trailers and feeding systems while developing your welding skills in a supportive manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to build a career in welding. You will work alongside experienced team members, learning industry best practices while maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with welding, fitting, and fabricating metal components using MIG, arc, gas, and other welding equipment
• Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to complete assigned projects
• Grind, clean, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
• Lay out, position, and secure parts using appropriate tools and measuring equipment
• Follow safety procedures, maintain equipment, and support production goals while performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to pass an in-house welding test
• Basic blueprint reading and measuring skills required
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn welding and fabrication techniques
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing, and walking

The base salary range for this position is $19-28 per hour excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
