Position Summary

As a Care Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients. You will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, reliable, and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and dietary needs, ensuring clients maintain a balanced diet.
• Administer medications as prescribed, following proper guidelines and documentation.
• Monitor and document clients' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or management.
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance emotional wellbeing.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of clients' living spaces and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
• Must be compassionate, patient, and respectful toward clients and their families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
