Bermuda Lakes is creating a brand-new poolside bar and restaurant at our RV Resort. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and instructions provided by the kitchen team.
- Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables, fruits, and other food items as needed.
- Prepare a variety of dishes according to provided recipes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support chefs and cooks by providing prepared ingredients promptly to facilitate meal preparation.
- Safely utilize grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment when necessary.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils after use.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties during busy service times.
- Pre-employment screening including background check.
- Current food handling certification (i.e. AAA or ServSafe).
