Mancan is looking for a Material Handler for a growing company in Strongsville!

2nd shift 3:45 pm - 12:15 am
Pay is $18.00/hr with .50/hr shift differential once move to 2nd shift.
-training on 1st 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Training is typically 4-6 weeks.

***MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A MEASUREMENT TEST!

As a Material Handler, you play a crucial role in the logistical operations of a company by managing the movement and storage of materials. This role involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring that materials are properly distributed to support various departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Movement:
Safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse or production facility using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and locations.
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory audits.

Order Picking and Packing:
Fulfill orders by picking and packing materials based on requisitions or customer orders.
Prepare and label shipments for timely and accurate delivery.

Shipping and Receiving:
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and process receipts.
Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.

Quality Control:
Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies to supervisors.
Ensure that materials meet quality standards before distribution.

Requirements:
Must have a valid Driver's License with less than 2 points
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to stand, bend and twist for duration of shift
Must have Forklift and Warehouse experience
