Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time Tool and Diemaker Fourslide to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fourslide (four-slide) machines, tooling, and setup procedures. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality parts and components using fourslide technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures for fourslide machines
• Set up and operate fourslide machines for various production runs
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create precise tooling
• Perform complex machining operations using various machine tools and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tooling, dies, and fourslide machines
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on fourslide equipment
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
• Train and mentor junior team members on fourslide operations and best practices
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop innovative solutions
• Maintain accurate records of tool and die designs, modifications, and maintenance
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Tool and Diemaker with a strong focus on fourslide technology
• In-depth knowledge of fourslide (four-slide) machines, their operation, and setup procedures
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent understanding of metalworking principles, materials, and machining techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
• Hands-on experience with various machine tools and precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is a plus
