Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry Float position requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience at an acute care teaching hospital.

Details

• Acute care teaching hospital setting on a Telemetry Float unit
• Also able to work in med/surg as needed
• 1:5 patient ratio
• 3x12 shifts, both day (7:00-19:30) and night (19:00-7:30) schedules available
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital as needed
• Uses Epic (Excellian) charting system

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required; pending license accepted
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• 1 supervisor reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• Care for patients with cardiac telemetry, neuro stepdown, and general medical-surgical needs
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered, with no local candidates accepted for this position
• Traveler must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as Perm (staff or per diem) to be eligible for return
• RTO requests should ideally not exceed 5 days
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
