Director Template Transformation

Director-level legal role leading global contract template transformation within Johnson & Johnson's GSINC program. Responsible for simplifying and governing contracting processes, templates, and playbooks across the enterprise while integrating AI and modern technology. Position reports to Senior Director and operates with significant autonomy across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Own global legal template transformation roadmap, priorities, deliverables, and measurable outcomes
• Lead assessment, consolidation, simplification, and approval of templates, clauses, and playbooks across enterprise
• Establish user-centered content standards that maintain legal protections while reducing complexity and cycle time
• Build end-to-end operating model including intake, governance, roles, handoffs, and supporting tools
• Lead cross-functional team and stakeholders through implementation planning, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Juris Doctor, LL.B., or equivalent law degree
• Minimum 10 years legal or contracting experience, including leadership of complex commercial contracting or enterprise transformation
• Life sciences experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success leading complex global workstreams and influencing senior leaders without formal authority
• Proven track record delivering legal or contracting transformation at scale
• Strong legal judgment balancing risk, compliance, business value, and operational feasibility
• Experience with automation, analytics, structured data, and change management
