Greetings! We're seeking Landscape Laborers who'll play an essential role in maintaining and enhancing commercial and mixed-type landscaping projects within a University educational setting. You'll work primarily within large teams to handle planting, soil preparation, lawn care, and general site upkeep. While they occasionally operate heavy machinery, the focus remains on manual landscaping tasks to ensure attractive and functional outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Plant and maintain various landscape elements including lawns and plants
• Prepare soil and install mulch for optimal plant health
• Perform routine lawn maintenance and weed control
• Set up and maintain irrigation systems as needed
• Remove debris and keep work sites clean and organized
• Maintain landscaping tools and operate heavy machinery occasionally
• Handle materials efficiently within large crews
• Ensure safety and teamwork during all landscaping tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in landscape labor
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic landscaping techniques
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Familiarity with irrigation systems
• Physical stamina for demanding outdoor work
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work well within large teams
• Awareness of safety best practices
