The organization focuses on reliable, compliant, and efficient cargo handling tailored to the needs of importers and exporters in these markets.Any additional information you require for this job can be found in the below text Make sure to read thoroughly, then apply.Role Description Open and manage import files (ocean FCL/LCL and air) from pre-alert through final deliveryReview and validate shipping documents: house and master bills of lading, air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of originTrack vessels and flights and keep customers updated on ETAs, delays and exceptionsIssue arrival notices and coordinate cargo release with carriers, CFS and terminalsCoordinate customs clearance with brokers, including ISF filings, entry documents and any CBP, FDA or USDA holds and examsBook and schedule drayage, trucking and warehouse deliveries; manage free time to avoid demurrage, detention and per diem xhyhwjd Monitor tariff exposure on incoming cargo (Section 232, Section 301, AD/CVD) and flag it to customers and sales before arrivalPrepare and audit file costing and customer billing; resolve vendor invoice discrepanciesKeep files complete and up to date in our operating system for audit and complianceCommunicate with overseas agents and partners to resolve documentation or operational issues
