Strategic Communications Technical Writer The Opportunity : Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. You Have: Experience utilizing the DoD Issuance Style Guide and AP Style Experience working with the front office of senior staff Experience writing, editing, and managing technical documentation for DoD applications, missions, or initiatives Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Experience with technical writing to support strategic communications specialists, graphic designers, and policy analysts Experience with developing communication plans to deliver high quality visual presentations, messaging, and print products Knowledge of the proper handling, marking, and tracking of classified material Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including gathering technical information and program data for the development of accurate and high-quality documentation, paying strict attention to detail, and successfully adhering to deadlines Top Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience using AI tools to assist in the writing of technical documentation Knowledge of DoD 5000 series instructions Master's degree Micro sof t Office Spe cia list: Word Expert Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
