Presentation Designer

Job Description:The Dimensional design team synthesizes complex financial concepts into elegant and easy-to-digest communications. The Presentation Designer helps realize this vision for the firm’s global program of high-end, dynamic virtual and in-person events. The ideal candidate has a passion for data visualization, an insatiable curiosity, and a tenacity for discovering the right design solution to bring content to life.Working closely with subject matter experts to conceptualize new ideas, the Presentation Designer will apply design thinking and gestalt principles to create clear, engaging presentations that help our investment experts educate, train, and inform prospects and clients across the globe. This designer should be comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and working in a collaborative environment where designs are debated and refined as a team.Key Responsibilities:Conceptualize and design high-quality PowerPoint presentations that align with business goals and the needs of our sales and investment teamsDevelop data visualizations and format numerical data, charts, text, and other visual graphic elementsWork closely within the broader Creative team and with other members of the Marketing department in the development of a design from start to finishCreate animations to illustrate complex conceptsCollaborate with speakers to create or improve their presentationsCollaborate with key stakeholders in the business in the development and maintenance of presentation materialsWork closely with project managers to coordinate the production of presentations as part of a full suite of event collateralMaintain brand standards and consistency of message and design across presentation materialsReview work for accuracy of typing, layout, consistency, and formatEnsure proper prioritization, meet all established deadlines, and proactively resolve issues that may impact the success of active projectsCompetencies Required:Ability to translate and simplify complex data through information graphics and chartsAbility to work independently and take initiative iterating to solve creative problemsAbility to work as part of a team, and take both broad and narrow directionExpert proficiency with: Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Adobe Creative Suite, and coding experience that focuses on data-driven data visualization (html/JavaScript/D3/JSON/Python)Exceptional customer service skills that help support a teamwork mindsetHighly organized and results-orientedFlexibility, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyExceptional time-management skillsAbility to prioritize independently based on workflow dependencies, competing business initiatives, and time constraintsExcellent interpersonal skills, especially in situations that involve arriving at a consensusDemonstrated ability to take initiativeEducational Background and Experience:Bachelor’s in Graphic design, communications, marketing, advertising, or a related fieldRelevant Years of Experience:Minimum three years of experience in marketing, communications, design, and/or advertising, with a focus on communication design and/or brand managementThis role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.#LI-HybridDimensional offers a variety of programs to help take care of you, your family, and your career, including comprehensive benefits, educational initiatives, and special celebrations of our history, culture, and growth.It is the policy of the Company to provide equal opportunity for all employees and applicants.
