Painter
Iron Horse Metal Works
Job Description
Job Description
We are an ornamental metal shop specializing in high-end architectural metalwork. We are looking for a painter to take over painting and finishing of all of our projects. This would involve working in our shop and in the field. The right candidate should have a passion for their work, as the final finish is the thing that our customers care about the most. We do everything from spraying primer and paint with HVLP and airless pumps to hand patinating metals with chemical patinas to high polishing brass and stainless steel.
A qualified candidate would have multiple years of painting experience, understand paint systems and how they are used, be able to do careful surface prep, and be willing and able to work in the field on high end residential jobsites. The right person is meticulous, pays close attention to detail, and has a lot of pride in their work.
