Job Description Job ID: 11742 Practice Details Seeking a second cardiothoracic surgeon to advance our program. The optimal candidate would possess the following: At least 5 years post training practice experience Thoracic experience/skills/interest, EBUS and VATS desirable Vascular experience/skills/interest Endovascular skills and experience; EVAR, TEVAR and Peripheral desirable TAVR/TAVI skills and experience 347-bed, acute tertiary care facility Newer hybrid operating room. Experienced cardiothoracic surgeon in place. Lung and Chest Surgeries Our surgical team is highly skilled at performing a wide array of thoracic surgeries, including: Lung biopsies: Your doctor removes a sample of lung tissue to biopsy for abnormal cells. Video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS): Your doctor inserts a tiny camera called a thoracoscope into a small incision in your chest. Using the camera as a guide, your doctor inserts instruments through other small incisions in your chest to perform surgery.
