Program Manager / Program Management Specialist (P&C Insurance/Underwriting)

This role is responsible for driving strategy execution and financial performance for assigned programs by coordinating internal teams and external partners, including MGAs, TPAs, and key service providers. The position oversees all program management activities and collaborates cross‑functionally with underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance, IT, compliance, and other Arch partners to deliver strong, sustainable results. Responsibilities Plan: Work with the Sr. Program Manager to develop a detailed annual financial budget, including key revenue and profit metrics to be measured against budget throughout the year. Leverage program metrics to identify trends, opportunities and vulnerabilities that inform program strategies. Execute: Evaluate monthly data feeds and results to identify outliers and trends that contradict or bolster documented program strategies. Partner with the underwriting team to ensure alignment on strategies and identify deviations. Engage the underwriting team to drive specific underwriting initiatives for the program. Measure: Analyze key performance indicators for top line and bottom line on a regular basis, assess versus budget expectations and share analysis with the Senior Program Manager to develop plans to address opportunities or issues. Partner: Develop partnership with Program Administrators business to help drive business priorities and maintain strong relationships with internal support groups to help drive business priorities. Required Skills and Abilities Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk‑management or a related field. 5‑10 years of property and casualty underwriting insurance industry experience. Experience with programs or related experiences in people management and/or interdisciplinary projects preferred. Choice of candidate will determine position offered. Compensation & Benefits Position offered will be incentive eligible. Base salary range is $100,000 - $180,000 plus target bonus. Total individual compensation will take into account geographic location, scope & responsibilities, qualifications and business needs.
