Work Environment\n This role will be conducted remotely, providing an excellent work-life balance for mental health professionals. Our innovative outpatient model allows you to offer support and therapy without the limitations of a traditional office space, empowering you to connect with clients effectively from anywhere in New York. Clients are scheduled during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured environment that allows for meaningful engagement and support. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify mood disorders and various mental health challenges in clients. \n Collaborate with clients to co-create tailored care plans that address their unique needs and goals. \n Provide psychoeducation, resources, and guidance for clients and their families, fostering the skills necessary to manage mental health concerns effectively. \n Engage with psychiatrists and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client care. \n Stay updated on evidence-based practices, research developments, and therapeutic methods to enhance the effectiveness of your interventions. \n Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with organizational guidelines and healthcare regulations. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n You will work primarily with a diverse client base that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Your role is vital in empowering clients to overcome obstacles, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. \n Active licensure in New York State (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) is required. \n Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities are essential for effective client engagement and intervention. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counseling or therapy in a mental health setting. \n Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. \n Experience working in outpatient settings or with telehealth platforms is a plus. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
