Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Open-Heart CVOR Tech experience in a similar setting

License: Active license required in the state of Virginia

Certifications: Surgical Technologist Certification (Equivalency), BLS

Must-Have: CPR/BLS certification required, COVID/FLU vaccination or declination required

Description: Start date is 10/05. Orientation occurs every other Monday. Candidates must have open heart CVOR experience and prior travel experience is required. The call requirement will be no more than three per weekday and no more than three weekends in a six-week schedule. Weekend shifts will consist of a 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM call shift and a 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM working shift for both Saturday and Sunday. Certification and an active license in the state of Virginia are required to start. Application for the Virginia license is needed if not currently licensed, which may take approximately 4-6 weeks to obtain. Credentialing is to be completed one week prior to the start. Expected to work 2-3 weekends per month based on unit needs. All requests for time off must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance. Local travelers residing within 60 miles will not be accepted. Cancellations may occur up to three shifts per assignment due to census. Float is not required.
