As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication, and document security-related activity. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, perimeter areas, and access points to help identify security-related concerns.
• Support the controlled movement of employees, visitors, vendors, and deliveries while following established site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
