Software Developer

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent technology discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience developing business applications with Java, Spring, and React.
• Experience working on projects with multi-person teams.
• Must be able to lawfully work in the United States and have unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• Knowledge of the secure development life cycle, threat modeling, and web application security assessments.
• Preferred: Experience with cryptographic programming, including PKCS, symmetric and asymmetric encryption, padding schemes, and key management.
• Preferred: Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server, and with SQL.
• Preferred: Experience with Git, BitBucket, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Preferred: Experience integrating AI into the software development life cycle.
• Preferred: Knowledge of low-level security protocols, security standards, and vulnerabilities.
• Preferred: Experience with multithreaded development, web services, REST, and SOAP.
• Preferred: Familiarity with agile processes, methodologies, and tools; EMV specifications; and XML and JSON parsing and manipulation.
• Preferred: Experience optimizing code for performance and troubleshooting performance issues.
• Preferred: Experience with one or more of C#, C, or Python.

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy software for our smart card personalization products.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in requirements reviews, improve existing systems, conduct code reviews and unit testing, and maintain documentation.
• Work with our team on new requirements and collaborate with other groups across the organization.
• Work in a process-oriented manner and handle project assignments independently with minimal supervision.
• Add features to our smart card personalization product suite to address current market needs, including adoption of AES standards for EMV.
• Help evolve our development architecture and technology stack.
• Identify opportunities to foster innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks.
• Contribute to designing and coding products in line with the product teams vision while continuing to build expertise.
