ASC is currently seeking experienced and dependable Housekeepers for a local hotel in Springfield. If you take pride in maintaining clean, welcoming spaces and enjoy working independently while being part of a team, we'd like to hear from you.


Position Overview


As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to ensure a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for hotel guests. Attention to detail, efficiency, and reliability are essential for success in this role.


Schedule


Full-Time

• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend availability required
• Two consecutive days off during the week

Pay


$15.00 per hour


Housekeeping Duties

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
• Make beds and change linens, pillowcases, and towels
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop hard-surface floors
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, baseboards, and windowsills
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, tubs, mirrors, and countertops
• Empty trash containers and replace liners
• Restock guest room amenities, toiletries, towels, and supplies
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or safety concerns to management
• Clean hallways, elevators, stairwells, and other common areas as assigned
• Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner
• Meet daily room quotas while maintaining quality standards
• Follow hotel safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards at all times

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping experience required
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Stable employment history
• Ability to work weekends
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
