Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical - Full-Time Night

Role Overview: Provides clinical leadership in an acute inpatient setting, ensuring patient/family-centered care through evidence-based nursing practices. Key Responsibilities Conducts patient assessments, develops, updates, and communicates individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Delivers direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, delegating tasks appropriately and monitoring care quality. Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to policies, including infection control, medication administration, and documentation standards. Utilizes performance data for quality improvement, evaluates patient outcomes, and incorporates improvement strategies into care. Provides patient and family education, assessing learning needs and ensuring understanding, while advocating for the patient’s needs. Maintains professional competency, licensure, and adheres to organizational values and standards. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred. Minimum of 1 year RN experience or completion of a approved Nurse Residency program. Current RN licensure recognized in the practice state. Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively; strong communication and teamwork skills. Additional Details: This role reports to a supervisor and may require night shifts.
