About the Job Per Diem - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized respiratory care and life-support measures.
- Respond to codes and emergency situations.
- Care for and assist in diagnosing acute and chronic pulmonary disorders.
- Serve as a clinical resource for respiratory support, education, and training.
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy - Required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy - Preferred.
- 2+ years of RRT experience in a Level III NICU - Required.
- Must include Jet Ventilation and Nitric Oxide experience.
- Active Minnesota RRT license - Required.
- NBRC certification - Required.
- BLS - AHA or ARC - Required.
- ACLS - AHA or ARC - Required.
- NRP - Required.
- PALS - Required.
- Strong acute and critical-care respiratory experience.
