Tax Manager
The Tax Manager will lead and oversee tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves managing tax reporting, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and providing strategic tax guidance to optimize tax positions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for clients
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Research and analyze tax issues and update clients on tax law changes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax-efficient business practices
- Develop and mentor junior staff in tax-related matters
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their tax situations and any potential issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or EA designation required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or public accounting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Experience with partnership and corporate tax returns
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
