This part-time role focuses on managing patient appointment scheduling to ensure smooth operations and high satisfaction for both patients and providers.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle daily patient scheduling through phone, electronic systems, and face-to-face interactions with professionalism and efficiency.Collaborate closely with the registration team to streamline check-in and check-out processes, enhancing patient experience and accuracy.Maintain clear and proactive communication with medical staff and supporting departments, promptly addressing any scheduling concerns.Manage patient requests, complaints, and communications with discretion, diplomacy, and sound judgment.Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to support organizational goals.Oversee the automated appointment reminder call program.Perform physical tasks required by the role and maintain consistent attendance.Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; associate degree in business or healthcare-related field preferred.Proven problem-solving and planning abilities.Experience instructing both professional and non-professional personnel is a plus.Skills and RequirementsStrong collaboration and management skills with internal and external stakeholders.Effective oral and written communication skills at all organizational levels.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.This role offers a warm, team-oriented environment where your contributions directly impact patient care quality in a regional healthcare setting.
