Packaging Engineer

Job Description Position located in Cincinnati, OH. Responsibilities Strong knowledge of packaging materials, design principles, and engineering drawings Proficiency in packaging testing standards (ISTA, ASTM, ISO) and validation methods Developing and executing test protocols and validation activities Expertise in technical documentation, including test reports and controlled documents Familiarity with document control systems and change management processes (ECR/ECO) Understanding of regulatory requirements and labeling compliance standards Analyze test data and perform root cause analysis Utilize tools such as MS Excel, Minitab, CAD, and PLM/ERP systems Collaborate across functions and communicate with stakeholders Manage projects, solve problems, and maintain attention to detail Review and update packaging drawings to reflect project changes Track current packaging status with the team Identify testing requirements arising from project changes Develop test protocols and conduct validation testing Prepare test reports and route through the document control system for approval Maintain and update packaging-related documentation Review labeling and WE0060 forms for compliance Prepare and present status reports with key assumptions Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field Salary Range $60,000 - $80,000 per year Benefits Discretionary Annual Incentive; Comprehensive Medical Coverage (Medical & Health, Dental & Vision, Disability Planning & Insurance, Pet Insurance Plans); Family Support (Maternal & Parental Leaves); Insurance Options (Auto & Home Insurance, Identity Theft Protection); Convenience & Professional Growth (Commuter Benefits, Certification & Training Reimbursement); Time Off (Vacation, Time Off, Sick Leave & Holidays); Legal & Financial Assistance (Legal Assistance, 401K Plan, Performance Bonus, College Fund, Student Loan Refinancing). #J-18808-Ljbffr
