Overview Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D), travel assignment in Lapeer, Michigan. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,997–$2,087 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). Setting: hospital. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,997–$2,087 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Start date: 06/15/2026 Every other weekend; On-call: 2 per 4-week schedule Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during pregnancy (antepartum), labor and delivery (intrapartum), and the immediate postpartum period Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs; respond to changes and coordinate care as needed Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries and provide support during operative and non-operative births Manage obstetric complications and emergencies, implementing rapid assessments and interventions Educate families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum expectations; ensure appropriate discharge planning Document nursing care accurately and communicate effectively with the care team Requirements Active Michigan RN license Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, AWHONN IFM certificates Ability to work night shift in a high-acuity L&D setting Eligibility to work in the United States and to fulfill a travel assignment in Michigan Benefits and Support 36 guaranteed hours per week 13-week assignment duration On-call coverage: 2 per 4-week schedule Every other weekend requirement Travel assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
